What is NAD+?
NAD+ is a coenzyme found in every living cell. It carries electrons in the redox reactions of energy metabolism, such as glycolysis, the citric acid cycle and oxidative phosphorylation. It is also consumed by enzymes such as sirtuins and PARPs.
